Chapter 01
Founded in Kolkata in 1989 beside the Hooghly's jute mills, India Jute House began with twelve handlooms and a single conviction — that the world's oldest packaging fibre deserved a modern renaissance. Three decades on, our master weavers still inspect every batch by hand.
Chapter 02
Heritage hands now guide 40 automated production lines. Lamination, rotogravure printing up to six colours, ultrasonic sealing and batch-level QC give us a monthly capacity of 4.2 million bags — without ever breaking a delivery commitment since 2004.
Chapter 03
Every bag we ship replaces roughly 400 single-use plastics over its lifetime. Our zero-plastic initiative, rainwater-fed processing and carbon-negative logistics chain make us the manufacturing partner of choice for brands serious about the planet.
